One of the only camps in the country designed for children that have been born with a cleft palate or lip as well as other more rare anomalies of the face and skull. (Ages 10-18) Monday – Thursday, 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. This camp is for children and adults who are on the autism spectrum. It is provided by the Autism Society of Indiana and Easter Seals Crossroads. The camp will consist of one-week, outdoor day camp with one optional overnight on July 3. Age appropriate activities will allow campers the opportunity to enjoy an outdoor camping experience in a fun, nurturing environment. Activities will include science exploration, swimming, nature hikes, arts and crafts, and music. All activities will be led by a team of professionals trained to work with individuals on the autism spectrum. Snacks will be provided; parents are asked to pack brownbag lunches for their child.

(Ages 8-18) Camp for young people who have experienced a burn injury or have been treated in the State of Indiana requiring hospitalization. Camp activities include canoeing, paddle boating, fishing, swimming, archery, crafts, hay rides, horseback riding, and a variety of activities not found at a typical camp. The special programs available at camp help children build self-esteem and realize their highest potential while learning to deal with the obvious burn scars and the deep psychological trauma they often suffer. (Separated into age groups by sessions.) Monday through Friday, 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Your child will have fun, make friends, and enjoy new opportunities in an inclusive summer day camp environment. Experiences are designed and staffed by child development specialist. Children with disabilities will interact with typical peers through a variety of fun yet educational experiences. Activities will incorporate sensorimotor, musical, and socialization experiences for children ages 6-12. Teens will experience peer mentoring, community service projects, socialization skills, and community awareness. Locations in Marion and Hamilton counties will be offered. (Ages 8-16) Two residential camp programs for boys and girls whose primary diagnosis is Tourette Syndrome and the associated disorders of Obsessive Compulsive Disorder and Attention Deficit Disorder.
